YOU KNOW YOU'RE A COFFEE ADDICT WHEN

I think it accurate to blame my two sisters for my now coffee addiction. My love of coffee started at around 13 when my sisters would make me what they called "baby coffee". Which consisted of a little splash of coffee with the rest of the cup filled with cream or half and half and 2 or 3 sugar packets. From there I moved on to frappuccinos and mochas. I wasn't until high school when I started drinking actual coffee. My coffee order of choice is either a latte or a cappuccino. For a while I was hooked on chai. Specifically a medium dirty soy chai with no water. They were my jam my sophomore and junior year of college.

For any future lovers, boyfriends, friends, or anyone who cares, this is how I take my coffee:
black with a little splash of cream.

There have been a few occasions in my life that have lead me to believe I am in fact a coffee addict. Or at least someone who cares deeply for it.

1. The awful headache that ensues every morning before I get my hands on a cup of the sweet nectar.
2. Becoming crabby if I do not drink it.
3. Ever since I found Dollop Coffee Co. I have stopped drinking Starbucks coffee. I now think it tastes like soap. Gross...
4. Over coming obstacles such as weather or time constraints in order to get a cup of coffee in the morning before class.
Side note: I walked 6 blocks in torrential rain and thunderstorms to spend the afternoon at my favorite coffee shop. Now that is what I call dedication people.
5. Automatically becoming a happier person after drinking it.
6. Making endless carafes of coffee even after 5 cups and getting the shakes.

THE CONCEPT

In life people are put into categories, usually focusing on what they do or what they wear. There is the jock, the hipster, the girly girl, the tomboy, the stoner; think The Breakfast Club. Within my group of friends I am known as the girl who wears to much black.

My friends are constantly trying to get my to buy and wear color, anything other then white, grey, navy, or black. If you were to look at my closet you would see a very limited number of colors. Red is the only real color I have in my closet.

As hard as I try I find it very hard to incorporate color into my wardrobe. You know when you go into a store and see something that literally making you gasp (usually with something with glitter or sequins) that is me with a plain white T-shirt.

The "new" concept for this blog is going to how to incorporate color into your closet and life. This will mean more fashion posts (i.e. what I wear and how I style different pieces in my closet). As I will be trying to bring more color into my closet, I will also be talking about how to embrace your monochromatic style.

In terms of trying to bring more color into your life, that includes how to take more chances, doing things differently, taking risks. Putting it simply, how to make my daily life more interesting and full.

CH - CH- CH- CHANGES

I am thinking of taking this blog in a different direction. More specifically, I want to give this blog more of a focus. So far I have told you who I am, what I like, and where I have been. As this is all well and good it doesn't contribute or lend anything to the so call blogosphere.  I want my blog to say something, be about something other then myself. I want to contribute something, help people.

I have thought about doing this for awhile. Over the past month I have been thinking of ways to "revamp" this blog. Whether that be adding different types of content or changing the name, the layout  or what have you. I didn't think any of those ideas were good enough, enough to really change what this blog is about. I needed to new concept.
